About this kit
Watches your Shopify sales each morning and speaks up only when something really moved.
- Compares yesterday to the same weekday last week, and 7 days to the week before
- Alerts on revenue, orders and average-order-value swings past a size threshold
- Names the likely driver: a channel, a product, a stockout, a discount, one order
- Learns your promotions and seasons, so a known spike is not called an anomaly
- Read-only: never changes an order, product or price; a normal day gets one line
How it works
Shopify
Reads the store's sales figures and the orders behind them so every number in the alert can be traced to a call. Read-only: no order, product, price or discount is ever changed.
- Read analytics: Runs the sales report with a comparison window, so the server returns the percentage deltas; also the product-performance report with stock joined in, the acquisition rollup, and the sessions conversion query when the store allows it.
- Read orders: Pulls the specific orders behind a swing, such as one outlier order or a cluster of refunds, so the alert names them instead of guessing.
- Read discounts: Checks whether a discount code or automatic promotion was running when average order value moved.
